I have been interested in horses for as long as I can remember, and began collecting Breyer model horses as a child growing up in Chicago. As a teen I put aside my collection, and my models stayed in a box for many years, until I re-discovered the world of miniature horses thanks to the internet. I was blown away by the artistry and skill that had evolved while I was gone, and it renewed my own enthusiasm in working in this genre.
I have a fine arts background, with formal training at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago and Columbia College in Chicago, and continually strive to improve my work with each piece. I am thrilled to paint sculptures by some of the top equine artists out there today, and every day I look forward to sharing my own work and seeing creations of other artists in this field.
